Blade of Marmora

A realistic sculpt of Keith’s battle-worn sword after becoming a Blade from the Netflix TV show “Voltron: Legendary Defenders”. Keith has been my favorite from day 1 of the show, and I thought that his sword was super cool and would be fun to do.

After creating the low-res model in Maya, I brought it into ZBrush and added the Marmora symbol on the hilt and the blade itself. After that, it was a matter of painting inside Substance Painter. Being able to add an emissive to projects really came in handy for this project and I was tickled pink with how it came out.
